- For businesses. Speakfold is for companies and their people, at work.
- Your words stay yours. You own what you put in and what you approve. We claim no rights to it.
- You approve, you publish. Speakfold posts, likes or comments only what a person approved, from their own account.
- LinkedIn has its own rules. You follow LinkedIn’s terms, and Speakfold never helps collect data about LinkedIn members.
- Leave any time. Cancel at the end of a billing period, take your data, and delete the workspace.
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between Speakfold (“we”) and the company or organization that creates or uses a Speakfold workspace (the “customer”). The person who creates a workspace confirms they may agree to these terms for the customer. An order or written agreement can add to these terms; where they differ, the order wins. Our data processing terms are part of these terms.
Who can use Speakfold
Speakfold is for business use only. The people who use it are the customer’s employees and others the customer invites, aged 18 or over. Each person connects only their own LinkedIn account, and the customer is responsible for what its people do in its workspace.
The service
Speakfold plans a team’s LinkedIn stories, prepares drafts, openings, comments and visuals in each person’s voice, reminds people what needs them, and shows results. We improve Speakfold all the time and may change how it works. If we remove something important that the customer pays for, we tell admins in advance. Trials and pilots may be limited and come as they are.
Your content and Speakfold’s drafts
The customer and its people own what they put into Speakfold and what they approve. The customer gives us the rights we need to store, process and show that content to provide Speakfold, and nothing more.
What Speakfold writes is a suggestion. Once you use it, it’s yours; we claim no rights to it. A model can be wrong or write something close to existing text, so read every draft before you approve it. You are responsible for what you publish under your name, including the laws and platform rules that apply to it.
Nothing goes out without a yes
Speakfold publishes, likes, comments on or reshares only what the person approved, from their own connection, when they press Post or at the time they chose. People can stop a scheduled post and take a comment down. Admins can stop a scheduled post, but never post, schedule or approve for someone else.
LinkedIn, Slack and other platforms
LinkedIn, Slack and the other services Speakfold connects to are separate services with their own terms, and the customer and its people follow them. These services can change or limit what Speakfold can do; we adapt where we can, but we aren’t responsible for their availability or their decisions. Speakfold isn’t affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by LinkedIn.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Speakfold to:
- publish anything unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or that infringes someone’s rights, or pretend to be someone else;
- post, like or comment in ways a person didn’t approve, or send spam;
- collect data about LinkedIn members, or use LinkedIn data for sales prospecting, recruiting, advertising or lead lists;
- scrape, probe, overload or reverse engineer Speakfold, share sign-ins, or resell it without our written agreement.
If someone breaks these rules, we may suspend their access, and we tell the customer’s admins why.
Fees
Plans, prices and what each plan includes are as shown on our pricing page and in Speakfold, or as agreed in writing. You pay per voice (admins and storytellers); commenters are free on every plan. Free costs nothing and has limits shown on the pricing page. A new workspace may get a trial of a paid plan; when it ends without a plan, or a paid plan ends or isn’t paid, the workspace moves to Free: nothing is deleted, and features and voices beyond Free wait until a plan is picked again. Payment is by card or by invoice; invoices are due in 14 days unless agreed otherwise. Prices don’t include VAT. Paid plans renew each month or year until canceled, and canceling takes effect at the end of the period already paid. We tell admins at least 30 days before a price change takes effect for them.
Data protection
For data in a workspace we act as the customer’s processor under our data processing terms. Our privacy policy explains what we do with data and who helps us.
Confidentiality
Each side keeps the other’s non-public information confidential and uses it only for this agreement. This doesn’t cover information that is public, was already known, or must be disclosed by law.
Availability and support
We work to keep Speakfold running and to fix problems quickly, and we help by email at hello@speakfold.com. Maintenance may sometimes interrupt the service. A specific uptime applies only if agreed in writing.
What we promise
We provide Speakfold with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, it is provided as it is, and we don’t promise that it is free of errors or that Speakfold’s drafts are accurate or right for a particular purpose.
Liability
Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or lost business. Each side’s total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees the customer paid in the 12 months before the claim. These limits don’t apply to damage caused on purpose or by gross negligence, or where the law doesn’t allow a limit.
Ending the service
Plans run month to month unless agreed otherwise. The customer can cancel any time, and the plan ends at the end of the billing period. We can end the agreement with 30 days’ notice, or at once if the other side seriously breaks it and doesn’t fix it within 14 days of being told.
Admins can download data and delete the workspace in Settings at any time, also after the agreement ends. If the customer asks us, we delete the workspace within 30 days.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we tell admins at least 30 days before they apply. If the customer doesn’t accept them, it can cancel before they apply.
Law and disputes
Finnish law applies. We try to settle any disagreement by talking first; otherwise the District Court of Helsinki decides. Questions about these terms go to hello@speakfold.com.
